Change Humanity's Relationship with the Ocean

Who are we

About us

Ocean Rock Base is an innovation driven and knowledge-based environmental nongovernmental organisation. Ocean Rock is based in Accra, the capital of the West African state of Ghana. With the overarching goal of protecting marine ecosystems and supporting communities that depend on them, our operations focus on addressing ocean climate challenges through science and technology applications; ocean literacy, citizen science, community-based advocacy and multi-stake-holders’ engagement and facilitation for policy advocacy. Through collaboration, we engage in strategic participatory processes to design and implement deliberative ocean resource management.
